I started in the practice as a student vet nurse on the 19th of June 2000. I studied my veterinary nursing at Telford College in Edinburgh and I qualified as a registered nurse in August 2005. I love every second of my job, as you don't ever have two days the same and I have met such lovely animals and owners on my journey as a nurse. I have a keen interest in surgical nursing and behaviour. I also became a clinical coach within the practice. I help train the nurses within the practice to help them learn new skills and develop their knowledge.
I have a dog called Becky, who is a cross-breed, she turns 13 this year. I also have a wee ginger and white cat, called Fred. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
